From time to time you will see a small increase in the loans that are non-performing. This is however not unusual given the nature and complexity of the loan book.
When a loan is overdue, we actively support each borrower, either to arrange a refinance, repayment or extension for these loans. In the event that we become concerned about any of these loans we would classify the loan as non-performing. In most cases, it is just that the borrower is experiencing delays in refinancing or the sale of the property.
For information on the action we take when a loan becomes 'non-performing' please see our Collections and Recoveries policy.
